Crossing Over Evelyn: A Psychic's Journey to Release Trapped Souls

 

As Psychic Lisa, I've encountered countless spirits in my work, and many of them are simply lost, unable to move on. My friend owns an older home, and it's no surprise that a few spirits still lingered within its walls. Among them were two male energies, one in the garage and another tucked away in a basement closet. But it was Evelyn, a female spirit in the basement, who truly tugged at my heart.

Evelyn found comfort in the basement kitchen; it felt familiar and safe to her. Interestingly, she hadn't lived in that house but resided directly across the street. She was, however, incredibly close with the woman who had once called my friend's house home.

Evelyn shared visions of her life with me, revealing a deeply painful past. She'd been trapped in an abusive marriage with an alcoholic husband, experiencing horrific beatings and rapes. The terror she lived through was so profound that even in death, she remained terrified. Her friend, a kind soul, used to hide Evelyn in that very basement kitchen, offering a brief sanctuary from her tormentor.

I offered to help Evelyn cross over, to guide her to a place of peace, but her fear was too overwhelming, and she declined. The thought of Evelyn spending eternity trapped in that basement, living in constant dread, was heartbreaking. I asked my guides to speak with her whenever they had the chance, hoping to gently persuade her that crossing over would ultimately bring her the safety she craved. She feared it would make her vulnerable to her husband, even in the afterlife.

A few weeks later, while helping my friend with some yard work, I saw Evelyn's husband on the front step of their old home, watching me. He clearly knew I could see him. He was tall, broad, and exuded a truly menacing aura. In that moment, I understood Evelyn's active concealment; he was still searching for her.

Knowing that moving on was her safest path, I went to the basement and explained what I had witnessed. I urged her that crossing over would be her ultimate protection. Again, she hesitated but agreed to think about it.

The next time I visited, I headed straight to the basement to check on Evelyn. To my immense relief, she had indeed considered my words and was finally ready to move on. I asked one of my trusted guides to accompany her, ensuring she felt completely safe during this profound transition.

I then entered a deep meditative state, calling for The Light to come forward. As it enveloped the space, it suffused Evelyn with a profound, loving energy. My guide gently escorted her through The Light, into the warm, comforting embrace of her parents' love. Evelyn looked back at me, a tearful "thank you" in her eyes. She smiled the most beautiful, peaceful smile I'd ever seen, a smile full of love, knowing she was finally safe and utterly insulated from her past tormentor.
